What Brand of Plasma HDTV?

I have read through the Plasma vs LCD thread, so I have a question.

I want to get a 57-inch (or larger) Plasma HDTV. I mostly watch sports, so I am choosing Plasma over LCD.

My current two sources will be cable HDTV (1080i) and Blu-ray (1080p), HDMI.

What brand/model would you recommend?

panasonic has a new one thats the industry standard....they are proud if it though....it's twice as much as the others and i personally don't see twice as much picture for the money...

Any opinion on the Samsung PN58A550?

Best Buy has it for a little over $3000.

Consumer Reports gave it an 80 out of 100.

I have seen some of the Pioneer Plasma's and been very impressed when they are hooked to local cable with an HD box.
