This is an appeal for help from all you old school mechanics...
THUNDERBOLT winner of the first Cowes Torquay Powerboat Race back in 1961 is back on the water. She has 2 rebuilt 5 litre Chevvy small blocks one direct drive the other through a THERMOELECTRON V DRIVE as her original layout.
The V DRIVE was rebuilt and does its job but is "grumbling" and does not sound happy..does anyone have any old spec sheets on this item?
Will post type and serial no later but really need to know if anyone out there can help first.
