Used/discount parts vendors??

I just picked up a 95 probe in perfect shape for $100!! Its got a blown tranny and the owners lost their stuff to the bank and i gave em a hunsky for the car and towed it home. I need a trans, used preferably, for a 95 Probe SE. Someones gotta have a hook up on here.

I bought my sister a Probe when she graduated from college. Biggest mistake I ever made. The car was made by Mazda for Ford. The parts for it were hard to come by and obscenely expensive. I mean Porsche-parts expensive. The exhaust barely made it to the end of the warranty. The starter as well. The replacement cost on those two parts were equivalent to it's 3-year-old Blue Book value.

I have had luck with Pull A Part, auto salvage yard with rotating stock of cars. Trans usually $40-50. Not sure of your location, may have a friend near one that would pull, crate, and ship it. www.pullapart.com.

Check the scrap yards. Probably your best bet to get it fixed affordably...

Yea im looking for a quick turn around. Put a few hunsky in it and off it. Make a few bucks for sure.
