True perspective: It's as if unsanctioned racing with boats full of passengers is inherently unsafe.

It really needs to be reviewed. I believe the Key West Poker Run has had more deaths or serious injuries than the races since the races made the changes after the loss of Joey.

I have no idea. I am a fan of freedom, not restrictions. But it's hard to wrap my head around cause analysis.

I assume there will be lawsuits, and nobody is talking.

It's a horrible tragedy and my heart goes out to all involved.

I am sure there will be lawsuits, too many serious injuries, plus one death.

And, once again, insurance was probably not in effect. Most insurance writers for boats exclude organized speed runs of any kind.
