I think for 1,000,000 I’ll let it go. The price will include a complete 20,000 equipment only fabrication shop a beautiful house in the country 3,500 sqft 30 x 40 barn 13 acres ahhh the American dream!!!!!! It will also buy you 12 useless employees 4 large break even contracts and a business name that has become completely ruined because CORPORATE AMERICA SUCKS DICK. I have however made it 5 years so I guess I beat the statistic.

Chrysler financial, you can have my diesel truck back, that’s 20,000 over mileage and smashed because I just hit a deer. I looked cool in it for a while, but I just bought a 95 S-10 cash and I love it. So stop calling me five times a day and come get the piece of ****.

53rd I would really like to keep my camper but if you insist on coming to get it because I’m 45 days late come and get it. I’ve got a ****ing tent. I'm sure it is true for many. HOWEVER - this is a lot of the reason we're in the trouble we're in IMHO. Everything that this person "owns", he financed... Whatever happened to not buying something until you could pay for it completely (mortgages and 1 necessary car excluded)? I was brought up that any toys shouldn't be financed.

ya know as i read it i think its sad but yea . . . was thinkin that exact same thing. but was also thinkin how brutal some of the big three are with the vendors. I know several personally and cant believe the stories about how they handle debt to the smaller suppliers.

Yep.
Everything in the house is ours
The boat - payed for, and everything associated with the boat.
Mortgage still on the house we're selling back in KY, and just renting here until we sell, and figure out where to be.
Credit cards are nil.
Payment still on vehicles, but low, and almost done on one of them.
Pay for damn near everything in cash, green.

I will say, I don't have a flat screen TV, and my surround sound system is almost 10 yrs old.
They still work, and I'm doing just fine.
Computer, and cell phone are both about 3-4 yrs old, but they work just fine.
My truck still has stock rims on it - which out here must make me look like trash (you don't see vehicles with stock wheels).
Instead of throwing away a Dewalt radio/charger, and a Craftsman Router, I tore them down last weekend and fixed them.
I still wear T-shirts from Poker Runs dated 10 yrs ago.
Only go out for dinner once or twice a month.
I cooked up a great steak last night on the grill.
I'm living just fine. Not setting the world on fire, but living just fine.

Thats the reason I live in a modest house, drive a 10 year old truck and have a 28' boat with a single. I live within my means.

I dont feel a bit sorry for the scmuck, or anyone else in his shoes. Right now there are a lot of guys out there who have played by the rules, spent conservatively and lived well within their means only to get ****ed 7 ways from Sunday by some asshat like this who thought he could run a business on an unlimited line of credit.

..To top it off, he has the balls to blame someone else...this kind of **** flat out burns my ass.

I'm still not done with my quest to sue the Gov't over bailouts. Why do I get punished for living within my means when the guy next door down gets to act like he hit the lottery and then my tax bucks are paying for it??

I've lost more than one night of sleep over someone living better for me with what use to be my money!
