Whats the difference between a Sierra, Merc, & Hardin Marine High Performance Thermostat (140F) ? Also would drilling three holes it it make it High Performance.

They are probably all three made by the same manufacturer, just guess though. The holes you drill just lets air pockets out from under the stat so it works properly. I don't know what defines a hp tsat, never heard of that. For hp applications I believe they switch to just restrictors instead of tsats.
