At 90 years old, he lived a full life. He will be missed by many.

More than 30 years ago i started an industrial cleaning franchise called Sermac that was advertised by Paul Harvey and hooked me onto doing my own thing instead of working for others (I was 17 years old). The franchise was part of the Service Master Franchise operation which i also started the franchise for Service Master in this area a year later.

The industrial business faltered in the 80's resession and I sold the Servicemaster Franchise to pay off my losses for Sermac the industrial side. This was a great learning experiance and was the basis for all i have done since in the working world. Ahhhhh lessons learned

Our yearly convention was always in Chicago and Paul Harvey always spoke at it. I was fortunate to have him sit at my table for lunch one year. He comands everyones attention when he spoke
What a great guy, I to will miss him. He is the reason i struck out on my own for the first time

I listened as a kid when Dad would run into the Ace for boat stuff. Loved the voice. My dad worked for Service Master, at the Corvette plant in Bowling Green Ky. They were good to Mom when Dad passed. He enjoyed working for them. They also sent Commendations they were going to present to Dad.
That program brings nice memories flooding back..........
