The Apache Still has it...

Got to tell you guys about a funny episode ( well fun now...not at the time)
which happened at Chicago International gate when I left Clearwater.

I was proudly wearing my Team Warpaint-T (thank you Mr & Mrs Vesper) with a Jerseez longsleeve under it walking and looking around with my eyes wide open at everything when I saw a Customs official in his late 40´s stare like me like hes had golfballs going to orgasm for eyes and staring right at the Apache Powerboats Logo...

Well Benny...seems they still remember....:dupe:

I dunno I´m just an innocent foreigner who got the T- for present ;)
On the other hand at Cowes 2009 an Apache41 showed good form.

Well in the rough the new technology isn´t for any help if the A41 is also a light Racer as the speeds stay low.
But make a A41 with nowadays Resins and layup... then see what happens.
And in Cowes a boat from 1984 creamed everyone... dueling with the A41.

Let me know when you want one.

Thats not what I was saying....what I am saying take any Apache Raceboat 41/47 from 84-94 as that was the original Apache years and put it up against anything from today in 6'+ seas and you will be amazed as to the outcome 9 out of 10 will go to the Apache!!!

And it´s not the only boat from the old days capable of that in 6´s and up...unless it´s a buzzi or some other behemoth.
Apache is a legend no doubt about it but not the only one either.
Thenagain I reckon any other powerboat-T wouldn´t gotten the officials attention...

Why do I do stuff like this... :sifone:

Benny wasn't there.
The customs (or maybe TSA) were in the moment.

It's called profiling. You can wear whatever you want and the customs people will look at you extra. :)
