SOS poker run? It's time

I think it's time to plan a great SOS Poker Run.
Who's in? and let's start working on details, and location.

hmmm....so many ideas. One thing I like about the Jammin On the James poker run is the cost; $299 I think. I would love to do more Poker Runs America events, but they are so darn expensive(although I'm not complaining about the $10k cash we took home from Abay last yr).
Location is critical for some, but if we can't afford it it is irrelevent! Keeping the cost between $200-$350 would allow for some nice prizes, but would bring more "regular joes" to enjoy the event.
Has anyone ever tried an event with different entry levels & prize levels? Not sure if it's do-able but that way the high rollers could get their groove on as well.

I think the entry fee should be small. THe prices ?? well I think most attendees ar attending for the fun not for the prices.
If this gets going,.... I invision a special run, that's not the typ. run which are profit driven. Lot needs to be done,, but I think we should get into it.

Couple thoughts. A special envilope, random.. You get your crew to show titties..(female of course) you get an extra Ace.
First one at the dock.. special envilope.. it may be.. you get a card taken away.. or an extra card..or... get beat up for being cockie..:rofl: It's a run.. not a race. Safest.. friendliest crew... automatic Ace... Smallest boat.. a card of your choice.. etc.. etc.. we have to make this fun.. stay tuned there is more..
and of course suggestions are welcomed.

this is my boat....:03::03::03:

Somewhere in the middle?

How about Cumberland or Norman. Both of their "regular" events are late in the year.

Maybe week before Memorial Day for a nice season kickoff?

I personally like Lanier, but it would prob be more difficult with past water conditions.

Cashbar, seems like I'm following you all over the sites tonight.

+1 for Norman!

Ok, seriously?

If we're meeting in the middle, we're going to LOTO. This site isn't big enough for all of the reasons. :sifone:
