While music was his first love, was also a Gold Medalist in the 1984 Olympics at age 19.

In March of 2007 he fell and broke his knee, that's when the cancer was discovered.

It has not yet been confirmed whether his difficulty breathing on the morning of May 15 was related to his cancer.

As a Tulsa native, all the news stations have been covering his live and his funeral today was beautiful and held in the BOK event center.
