Had to run down and see Pete today. Had a nice little trip. When I got in he said I should have been there earlier so I could have helped Mike test run Team Douglas, (The redone Dirty Duck), they were just finishing up the final little items on. Mike had just returned with it...

Sweet boat, sometimes my timing just sucks!!!!!

But, they had another boat to shake down and Pete volunteered me to assist. It was a nice little 21' with a 300 outboard. Looks like fun, especially since a front was coming through and the lake was kicking up a bit.

So, off to the lake to see if they had all the issues corrected......

Fun ride, Mike didn't push it real hard and the boat ran well. Didn't even scare the crap out of me...

Fun little rocket, but a biotch to get on plane. I bet it's a riot with the jack up, trimmed up, and hanging it way out!!!

You may be curious about how the new WHM is coming along?

Being worked on in the paint booth.....

Love the look of the Douglas #11 Skater. Nice an simple. Looking forward to seeing the WHM boat on the race course.

A boat that will be in the hands of a Michigander in time for Boyne hopefully....

Do you remember the old Team Douglas from Grand Rapids? Father and Son race team? It is being done for them.

I was just referring to the stairway off the transom and the sides of the bustle brought the new surf tabs from wake boats to mind...
the bustles and platforms seemed to have gotten a lot more elaborate

Now all they need is one on the front for when you beach it bow first.....
