The Skater Outboard Fun Run starts today. The weather appears to be almost perfect for the outside run today, and tomorrow if they want to.
Peter, Michael, and Tony all flew down yesterday and will be on boats both days.
Todays run leaves the Sarasota Hyatt Regency and goes out into the Gulf where Pete Boden will shoot photos, and Matt Hledin will video. They will head back in at the Anna Maria Island pass into Tampa Bay, and all meet for lunch at Doc Ford's Rum Bar by the St Petersburg pier. Then back to the Hyatt after lunch, most likely running the inside passage.
Tomorrow's run will be from the Hyatt to Riviera Dunes on the Manatee River. Pete and Matt are scheduled to shoot that run as well.
This is the first time that Peter has come down to join the run. But, he never forgets that his legacy beginning is outboard Skaters.......
