Sixth Annual Great Lakes Grand Prix returns to Michigan City LaPorte

The Great Lakes Super Boat Grand Prix will be held JULY 31 – AUG. 3, 2014 at Washington Park Beach, Michigan City, Indiana.

The Great Lakes Grand Prix is part of the Super Boat International offshore powerboat racing schedule and will feature many of the world's fastest and most powerful offshore power boats speeding past spectators on Washington Park Beach at speeds nearing 150 miles per hour.

Walk throughout the park and chat with racers, team members and boat owners while getting up close and personal with these mammoth watercraft. See your reflection in the shiny, stainless steel propellers and feel the power of thousands of horsepower displaced by the huge outboard and inboard motors.
