Not All Red Wing Boots Are American Made.

I went to purchase new Red Wing work boots today, only to find that the style I wear is no longer made in the USA And they still wanted $170.00. Other styles were still USA made, but none that I liked.

Another American corporation turning its back on the American worker and resorting to cheap China labor.

I have bought RED WING boots for probably 30 years.
I bought a pair of the $100 boots for summer use and they are junk.
I also bought a new set of $180 boots for this winter at the same time.

I have seen the same thing happen over the last five years with tools.All of a sudden product just shows up made in China or other Asian country same part # same price.

Wonder when they'll figure out that the jobs they're taking to China are the same jobs that pay the people that buy their stuff?

I thought this happened years ago. I bought a new pair of work boots from them every year until they canceled the line I wore about eight years ago. The ones they tried to give me as a replacement line were junk.
I still get company reimbursement for them yearly, but I just throw them away and buy something else.

Same thing happened to Rocky years back, prollbably one of the biggest money makers for Nelsonville, OH next to Halloween at AU. My dad taught me a lesson years ago. When you find a pair of work boots that work, go back and buy every pair they have.

I agree, what kills me on a job is that people will by cheap boots then ***** all day how their back and feet hurt, then when you see them at the bar they will have on a brand new pair of mega expensive shoes, I always say you are on your feet 10 hours a day and you buy shi t boots, but for a couple hours a week at the bar you spend mega bucks :dupe:
