Rear facing camera on canopy boat

What kind of on board camera setups do folks use on canopy boats so that they can see behind them? They may not use it much while racing, but it seems like it would be invaluble when you are pleasure boating or on a poker run. What brands are decent? What angle of view? Will one camera do the trick? How and where do you mount it?

Thanks a bunch!

I have a hard wired bullet cam molded into my air intake that goes to a 7" color screen on the dash. Bought all off of Ebay and have held up to racing for 3 yrs. They are not much good when the sun is low and your camera is pointing at it.

Go to eBay, type in rv camera I believe. we put one on the race boat and flogged it all season with no problems, it was only 119.00, for camera, screen, all wiring, etc, took an hour to install, works great, and price was cheap,

go pro, works great and is portable so you can use it on anything else you may have - 4 wheeler, sno sking, etc

Can you hook up the go-pro to a monitor inside the boat? I did not think that you could. If so, that may be the way to go on it.

I believe the Go-Pro is a video camera only...rear view camera is different, like a rear view mirror only electronic and has monitor inside like an RV or such and displays in real time... Steve M has them on his boat but I don't remember what brand.

Here is a pic of the ones I have faired into my boat. Mounted them in PVC and then molded them into air scoop and deck sides.
