I think P&D and Jaws were the same company that copied an 24' Pantera hull.

It's a 24x7 splash. Very similar hull to Pantera.

P&D was a splash from the old Magnum Marine hulls, (I think,) I had a friend (Dennis Ashman) who had one in the early 80's, had twin straight six's built rining AV fuel and volvo drives, 24' ran in the upper 60's/ candy stripe interior

Yep, that's the way I understand it too. Actually, all the 24x7's are based off the Mag. It's unclear where the "first" one came from though...
