I worked up there for years. Gotta hit the best pizza joint in the city. John's Pizza on Bleeker in the West Village. I miss that place.

The 57 Bar at the Four Seasons ALWAYS has smokin hot chicks hanging around. The mini kobe burgers are excellent too.

Tao next door to the Four Seasons is also a hot sushi/asian restaurant/bar.

Depending what your friends like, send them downtown during the day. South Street Seaport is nice, Battery Park. I also thought the Bodies Exhibit was pretty cool.
