Well I finally decided to go all out! Like they say, "If you cant hang with the big boys stay on the porch!":smilielol5: Its only 25' but the prior owner told me she handled the big stuff really well! Im used to running drag cars so this cant be to bad. We took the hard top off to lighten it up a bit and removed the windshield to lower the drag! I sent the props out and had them labbed so out of the hole should be awesome.:drool5: I used a Myco trailer and modified it so I can tilt the boat and park with the big dogs in the pits! Its a little long but feel I can mount boxes for storage and mopeds.

Let me know if I should change anything up to be better suited for the 2009 race season.:sifone:

Thanks!

Well, You already have the color match down. How about adding a water tank on the trailer so you can flush those motors out ?

I would hate to see such awesome mills get wasted and eaten by salt walter.... :sifone:

Yeah I was told the bottom paint would airiate the water and we would pickup speed. Im using the swim platform as a set back bracket so I can run the engines at an aggressive X dimension!:driving:

Great idea Sharkey!!! Maybe you can get pictures of us in Cambridge this year! I plan on given those guys a run for there $$$$!

When you launch it, do you prop up the truck on an angle to make the boat straight.:sifone:

I told that to someone about the Nashville Catz Nortech on the tilt trailer. We were headed to a poker run with the boat tilted, and the usual gas station troll comes up and asks how we launch it with it on its side. With the most serious face I could muster, I told him that we turned the truck on its side. I then turned and walked off with this guy standing there with the most dumbfounded look on his face. It was truly priceless.

ps. How ya doing John???

I really like the hauling another boat thing or hauling everybodies mopeds to every race! As far as the beak thing, working on it. I dont want to add to much more weight but thought about a full canopy so we can step up a class! It does have a pulpit though!!!

Hey Eddie! Doing well. Trying to stay busy until the spring hits. I have a few engine jobs but nothing to really brag about. Got into shipping boats over seas in and out of containers. Gotta make $ some how! Beings we are so close to the Port of Baltimore there are a lot of brokers that like that so it seems to be working out well so far. Hows things there? Called you a few times but you were busy on the Dyno. Also tried your email but didnt go thru. Catch up with you later!

John

how about seats like the one rollercoaster at cedar point, where your feet dangle and just touch the floor, and a canopy..imagine, the first stand up canopy boat, you could start a trend!! you could make the rules for constructing it even, heck, draw it on a napkin, and send certified mail it to yourself, but don't open it so you have the poor mans patent, your going to be rich!! I do want 15% for comming up with the idea though...
