New Pantera 28 SR

Here are a few pictures of the recessed hull sides. We custom fabricated stainless steel plates precision cut with water jets and polished them out. Then we installed custom LED lights in "green". These pictures do not do it justice since the factory lights were on but I can assure there will be no other performance boat out in the water ways that will look this unique at night. The LED lights reflect off of the custom paint work.

We should be testing sometime next week . Should be real fast plus look incredible !!

I am excited on how it is all coming together.

Post quality pictures and a video as soon as we run it.

Regards,

JO

JO - that looks incredible.
Just like the paint job, you are stealing a similar idea I had YEARS ago.
I wanted to do something similar with flourescents, but they never would have held up. Technology wasn't there. LED's are badazz!
Looks great.
Thanks for taking the time to share with us.
Looking forward to the next installment:sifone:

Looking forward to it.

What's the baseline:
how deep is the drive,
what props are you trying etc.
Got a number you're shooting for?
What does a nonstepped 28 run with a 525?

Non-stepped 28 runs about 71 acording to a couple guys I know with them.

Says a lot for safety while boating at night. Never understood why boats were not marked with lighting on the sides....makes it a lot easier to see at night.

I don't believe it would be leagl to run with those lights on at night, especially if both sides are green.

Are both sides green or does the port side have red leds? If it does that would be pretty slick, if not then you could probably put both red and green on the port side with two switches, red while running, green while chilling. Or for that matter you could do that on both sides and switch things up if you want!

For safety reasons, Pantera's new side LED lights are not designed to work while the boat is underway with the navigation lights on.....they can be turned on while the boat is at the dock or stationary, but not while the nav lights are on..........and, ......I saw the boat last night with the cabin LEDs and the side LEDs on, and it is KILLER!!!!!!Nothing else like it out there........stay tuned, it is going to be unveiled very, very soon:drool5::drool5::drool5:

The new Pantera 28 SR handled perfect and much faster with new T.S. bottom. Need to test a few more 4 and 5 blade props to maximize RPM, slip, and calm and rough water performance.

I will post good pictures and performance #s real soon.Boat looks amazing in the water !!!:sifone:
