Need some gun help

I am looking for a diagram for a Marlin model 989 m2 .22 cal.

I have an old one from when I was little and shot it for the first time in years over thanksgiving and it hangs up alot so i want to refurb it myself.

I know I can buy a new one for a hundy but would like to keep this one. Any help would be great,I have not been able to find any diagrams.

Did you clean it good? I assume it's a semi auto, and 22 ammo isn't the cleanest burning.

cleaned it real good.Took it apart and having trouble getting back together. Pre assemble and test and its all good. Once i put it all back in the stock and tighten everything the slide comes back but the trigger wont engage.

Do yourself a big favor and take it to a seasoned gunsmith. Ive built over a dozzen firearms from a pile of parts. One day decided it would be a good idea to completely dissasemble and clean an old Nylon66 for my father. BAD IDEA! Parts and springs went flying everywhere. Moral of the story is, I spent $70 to have a $100 rifle re-assembled that there was never anything wrong with.

Done. Got everything bac together and fires great. Had a spring backwards. Just need to take it to the range now. Maybe have a bore job done.

I have the same 22! It's the first gun I ever fired. (not this particular one)

I sat outside a month or so ago, waiting to see an armadillo that's tearing up my yard. I never saw him, and then the day after I was sitting out waiting for him, I saw him walking down the street. I knew I couldn't get to my 22 in time, so I let my dogs out. They've stretched armadillos before, but those dumb sob's ran around the house, and the armadillo got away in my lot across the street.

Any handguns? I am looking for a good 1911, Kimber or equal.

Gerritm, be wary of the newer Kimber 1911's they have had qc problems in the past couple of years.
