A house on my street has been abandoned quite some time now. I met the owner a few times and judging by some of the conversations it didn't sound like he had a very "sound" financial plan. I haven't seen him in over a year and I don't remember his name. They were trying to sell it for a ridicules price right before he disappeared last spring. I'm thinking it's a foreclosure. It needs some work and if the price is right it could be my first rental property. Older small, probably 1000sq/ft, 3br - 1 1/2 bath on .9/acre.
Where do I find info on it? Who owns it? What it's worth? Who do I contact about it? I figure it's worth checking into.
