My boat is in the classifieds

Haven't gotten a call, I don't think a link would matter at this point.
Maybe it's not worth what I would like to get for it.
I'm always open to a reasonable offer though.
I have a spare engine & trans also.

Thanks Jim

Look at how much of the bottom of the boat is in the water.. Not much.
That's why they go FAST with not a lot of power.
When this boat had the B&G big engines which were about 550 hp it ran 93 mph.
Now to be able to handle it @ 95 is another story, but Bill G is absolutely the best there is.

So what size engines are in it now..and what speed ??? i think this would be a perfect entry boat for OPA !!!!:cheers2:

It has a 2 454's low hp. It is set up to P-5 class specs from 2004.
I think the breakout speed was 70 mph. With the props that are on it it runs 73 wide open. I have used the boat this way for 4 years now with very few problems.

YUP,

I remember Bill and Scotty going at it in Key West, and I also remember helping Bill chain the drive up after the broken Pin for the ride home:eek:

Need to cut a foot off for the perfect class 5 OPA boat......

It has been a perfect pleasure boat for my family & I for 5 or 6 years.

Not a lot of frills but a blast to run & holds 6 people comfortably.

When you pull up to your favorite bar or restaurant on the water the people just go nuts over it every time.

It is a true piece of offshore history & still 95% original the way it came out of the factory & in great shape.

u couldnt run it in 5 OPA or 4 SBI now anyways....only single engines allowed !

but in class 4 OPA it would run awsome with some bigger power..85 breakout !
so twin 500 HP or even more..would be the ticket to race it in OPA !

other then that .i think its a great pleasure poker run boat for LOW $ !

GOOD LUCK with the sale !

i think thats a TYPO... only twin outboards ! in OPA..SBI only single ! might want to check !

When it had the B&G engines, about 550 hp each it ran in the low 90's....92-93
Gary Hartman @ B&G in Point Pleasant NJ. built them & throttled for Gazell a bit & has done 90% of the work on the boat during its racing days.

Gary is a friend & was in Fl last week. He serviced & went over the boat for me.
