Personally, I liked the in the water location better. The first and second year it was tough to get to and from. After they had a couple years experience they did a much better job. We never had an issue after that. And, being in the water, it was much more of a boat show.

I'm not sure what it will be like back at the new Convention Center. The outside area is gone, the in the water part is an hour away minimum, and the cost has sky rocketed.

I can see why more and more performance dealers and builders are going to the Fort Lauderdale show. It used to be no performance boats, they just blew it off.
