Sad to see this kind of thing happening so much.

I wonder what the the 16 driver's skill level was... It doesn't sound to me like McCarthy was likely doing anything wrong.

Hate to see this happen. Just another reminder that you can't be too safe out there. I always try to leave as much room as I can from other boaters, even when I am in a no wake zone. You just never know what the other driver is doing or whether he/she see's you or if even there could be a mechanical malfunction.

Tom, when I saw the headline on Saturdays paper the first thing i thought was, "I hope to god this isn't a performance boat".

After reading the article I was saddened by it but at the same time thankful it wasn't performance related.
