It is kind of odd though. The show was always for fishing boats and yachts. Now, it pretty much still is, but fishing boats that go 70mph with three outboards, and have no fishing pole holders, are the big attraction for offshore performance boaters. I think we're just getting old and want practical, not true performance.
Hopefully that will turn around again in the future and real offshore performance boats will return.
Reminds me of the rice-burners that became so popular. No real American muscle cars for years, but now they are back from every builder. :hurray:
