Hey,

I collect Powerboat Mags and I have one issue, Feb. 1993, where the 47' Fountain CS is reviewed. I liked the boat, as it is an older model ( i am into classic boats). The one tested had 3 blown HP525 SC's. It runs 84mph on speedo, 82mph on radar. I would like to see some more pictures. It was a sick boat!!!!!
Any Fountain lovers out there got more pics of this offshore beast? I'd certainly love to learn more about the boat, and it's rare design...

We used to have the boat here in Ga. at the former Fountain Powerboats
of Ga. I worked there for "FUN" as "product specialist". The boat originally
had 3x 1000sc with #6 wet sumps. The owners pulled all of the sc1000 and sent the boat back to fountain to have it setup in staggerd with 525sc. I ran the boat a few times on lake lanier, man what a Pig with those engs. 60mph at best, had Dry Y pipes, Sounded like I was going fast.Other fountains would hear me coming and haul ass up next to me little did they know I was WOT!
Last time I saw it was for sale in south Fl.

White and red , one of reggies ex race boat with a half ass cabin, you had to crawl under the dash,there were two foam pads.
It was kind of fun to drive, the only perk I got for working there! The owners stiffed me on my commission when I sold a 42 w/ tripple 575 sc @ Miami show. So when I would take the boat out I would only run the 525sc @ WOT. And they wondered where their 800gals of gas went:sifone:

I had a radar arch on my Miami Vice 38 KV Skarab

Best line i ever heard was from one of my customers i was trying to get to go for a ride with me

He took one look at the boat and said " I am not riding in any boat that has a roll bar on it"
 
one of the 47 race Fountains . . . only pic i have of it :D . . . i think its the one with the 1000SC's. Nice lookin rig
