Looking for ideas-

Want to wall mount a few TV's but dont' want visible cable boxes.

X-10 looks good but doesn't do HDTV and don't really have the need not to have extra boxes. Yea, they are $10/mo each but don't want to have to watch certain shows in certain rooms since that is what is being watched in another room.

i hate the same programs on more than one tv

When I built my house I ran all the wires to a closet and mounted all the equipment in the closet in a rack and then to TV, and used a infra -red remote capable of serveral hundred feet to control everything... pretty simple just had to get a game plan and make sure I ran enough Co-ax and Cat 5 cables to each location. Also installed quad resptacle in closet. you see nothing but the 52" Samsung 1080 120HZ TV on the wall!!! I did have to get a stereo guy to program my new remote with his lap top to control everything including the DVD, outside speakers etc...

Brand new house but it is already up- not new construction.

Edit- that won't work since I have to get the cable signal to the TV- duh..

I want to mount a TV above the kitchen pantry so I can watch it while at the bar stool thing/island. Not sure if the pantry has power in it or not.

Another spot has a jack "right there" but it is 2 foot up the wall- TV is going to be hung like 6 foot up the wall (or whatever looks right). No closets around it, on an exterior wall, etc. So what to do? I could put a small table with the set top box on it where the jack is, then run a coax inside the wall to the TV but then I have a table with a set top box on it.

I'll try to get pics
