Well, we got up at 5 and went into DC. My wife ran in the Cherry Blossom 10 miler. Got home at about 11am. I went to drop the boat in the water on our ramp, backed it up just enough to get the transom in the water. I got in the boat to fire it up and looked in the bilge. There was some water dripping off of the fitting from the strainer to the impeller. I got in the bilge and just barely touched the fitting with my foot......phucker broke clean off! Water pouring in!!!!

Of course, Ted showed up to drop his boat in and I was in the way. He was a great help and a good sport!!

Anyway, I MacGuyver'ed it and off we went. What can I say, boats love some cold air!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday was the first day for me. Myself and Sunsation96 took my boat out for the maiden voyage after alot of winter changes. Ran great! Felt great to be on the water again.

Thursday was the day here. It was almost 70 out and the water was like glass. Took it out for a quick ride, wow there was a lot of debris in the lake! Had to dodge all the little twigs floating, but still had fun! Docks at the launch aren't even in yet...

Craig I forgot how loud dry pipes can be when undoing the lines on the back. It looked and sounded great. I also really like the jacket!!!!

I wanted to go out.... but my boat is in the shop. Took it down on Friday to get new filters, plugs, lowers serviced, etc to start the season clean. Should have done it at the end of last season but put it in Winter storage and never got around to it.

My mechanic just had a kid Friday before last but he should have worked on it Saturday so I could have gone out Sunday. Hard to find good help these days....

Yea- that is what they recommend doing. I meant to but... I'll be ok- going to get down in the 30's this week so only missed a day (I know- but still!)

Don't know, my little outboard fired right up and I drove away while he was F'ing this and S'ing that in the bilge :26:

There was a loud as sh!t boat that pulled up to the dock bar later which looked kind of like it, but I'm not sure, all those LPB's look alike as far as I'm concerned. :ack2:
