A gun is a shotgun. It can also be a piece of artillery. The others are rifles, pistols, sidearms or generically, weapons. And unless you're talking about an M-1, it's a magazine, not a clip.

Not sure who you ordered your Socom through, seems like you posted a thread about it months ago.. You may want to give Pete at Legal Transfers a call, he gets random shipments of Rock River parts and is numero uno when it comes to price and service.

Yeah, It is my local dealer who I always deal with. I ordered it before Christmas and he say's they are still B/O ??? And they are getting really hard to get like all the "black guns". Dave

Between my brother and I we have about 25 Guns. Some really cool stuff like my grandfathers carry stuff from WWII including a little deal that looks like a little tube with a small butt on it. It was used for close combat and you kept it in your sock and if you had a guy come up to you it would go in the gut and push. Not something that I will ever shoot but very cool piece of history.

Rock River finally gave up on quoting lead times about a month ago. I ordered a Coyote in 12-07 and got it 3-08. That was all before the scare factor set in. I called LT back in late Nov. and 2 Socom uppers came in that day, I bought one, he called me 2 months later with the lower. Now im just trying to find a parts kit in stock.

The guys on Socom forums do a SBR brass group buy from time to time...
