Example of bowsteer gone bad:

Driver error right from the start.
Good example of someone who does not have a clue how to DRIVE a boat other than just pushing the throttles forward. It doesnt appear he made any adjustments for the feedback the boat was screaming at him.

I second that.

Did anyone see any tabs? And I bet it was a stock regular steering:ack2:.
No double ram full hydraulic.

Never could figure out why people would want any part of an overpowered, short, open canopy race boat to begin with. Everybody's seen 25' boats with somethong like 700 - 800 ponies. I't's like a death wish.

When I was much younger, I seriously jumped a 25' Donzi in 6 footers on Lake Erie. We landed so hard the extra bolted in stereo ripped clean out. It was actually good driving on my part, just too fast. It tought me to have a bit more respect and to never buy a short boat. I love playing in big waves, but you gotta have some real length.

What are you all talking about. Overpowered small boats are fun, maybe not in the ocean:toetap05:

Like a Highway potrolman asked me one day ,why would you want a motorcycle like that ,that can do 180+ mph:driving:

I would rather have a 12" dik and only use 1/2 of it! Same analogy!!:sifone:

What a guy line…..If you have a 12 in dik, you would use the hole thing if she likes it of not. And what guy in the world would not HAVE TO KNOW what that 700 hp will really do!

My point is that it's damgerous to have that much power in a small boat, unless you boat on a nearly wave free lake. If you have that much power, you sure as hell are gonna use it. Ask the cop I blew away at 160! I love crushing waves and would not bother putting a go fast on a small lake, more like a pontoon boat to party on. That's why I'm a Cig. & Apache nut. Can you blame me? I spent many, many Summers on Lake Erie. It's just plain nuts to have a small boat on that lake. I once went out with a few guys in a 16'-18' boat on Lake Erie. Waves were 6'-8'. After we spent 2 hours trying to go a mere 2 miles and only traveled 1/2 mile, we turned back. Fu*k that!

Oh, and if I had a 12' dik - I'd use it all too! Never gotten any complaints though! :biggrinjester:

19 foot carbon/kevlar pickle 450 lbs hull with 1000 hp blower motor 0 to 118 in 8 sec.

That incident had NOTHING to do with HP and/or speed. It could have happened at 40mph. Common sense guys.
