it's getting chilly at night and early morning. 55-60 degrees. Funny, some guys show up for work wearing Carhartts, and new guys out here show up in shorts and a sweatshirt. I'm on my second winter - it's cold to me - just started a nice fire:sifone:

Growing up my parents had a vacation house in Scottsdale--found it funny the few times I was out in the early morning--you'd see kids going to school and adults waiting for the bus, etcetera all bundled up in winter gear!

Yeah, you can tell anyone that's been out here for any period of time.
Mid-day it's mid 70's and tourists are swimming at the hotel, locals are wearing a flannel.
I was told that once you've lived in PHX area for two years you become a native - I've got 5 mos to go and have no plans of leaving.
Gotta go outside now and shovel some more sunshine...:reddevil:

Last winter on the way home from FL. it was 24 degrees in Ocala. I mentioned "glow plugs" to some poor shmuck trying to start his rented U Haul truck and he looked at me like I had three heads.

My wife didn't know what a Carhartt was. I figured since they make 'em in Mexico now, that everyone in SoCal and Phoenix would have seen them!
