I bet that is the sickest show to film. All the food I see on there looks amazing! Anybody ever eat at one of the places Guy goes to?

Suddenly this makes sense. I didn't realize this was a movie. My boss told he he's driving to the East coast and they're making Diners, drive in's and Dives the theme of their trip and they're planning at stopping at a lot of them along the way.

Funny you should post this. My Dad's restaurant/bar is going to be featured on Monday night, May 25th(Memorial Day) at 10 PM EST.

You will probably see some pictures of race boats in the background.

They film over 2 days and take about 10 hours of footage which is wittled down to about 8 minutes.

Ours was filmed on a Sunday and Monday. Guy was only there on Monday. I was there on Sunday(had to work Monday). Apparently he is a real cool guy. My dad has a 69 Chevelle that Guy parked his Camaro next to(they tow the Camaro behind a box truck from location to location). I know they did a bit of interviewing next to the cars. My Dad's 24' Progression was also in the lot so look for that as well. You wont see me on film(no family allowed).

Thats so cool! Do you have to call them about being on the show or how does it work? How come no family allowed?

Usually someone recommends you. You can go on their website and recommend places that you like(not sure if they would go to a place in Canada).

No family allowed for obvious reasons...bias! They want to get the opinions of everyday diners/eaters.

Cool.......Congrats.....Do you know yet when it will air?

And I would of lied about being family and paid for a professional disguise. Not even told "Dad" I was there......

My wifes favorite show.
I usually wind up watching it with her, and yeah, they come up with some pretty good eats.
I think there are a few places they visited around here that I'll need to put on list of things to do.

That is a great show.

I'll keep my eye open for your episode Gladhe8er.

The other one I really like is "Man Vs Food". Both of these shows make me starving just watching.:drool5:
