Nice of you to bring this up again...I mean the Cards had lost like 8 of 10; fresh off getting swept at home by the Brewers; Ludwick and Ankiel on the DL (no protection for Pujols); Carpenter's first game back from the DL and come to town the Cubbies do with all their giddy fans intact and what do you know...that awesome Cubby lineup posts 3 runes in 3 games and leave empty handed with those "crappy" Cardinals holding the broom...hmmmm.

They say there's no "I" in team, and now there is no more "I" in Big Mac, either — at least not after Albert Pujols(notes) crushed a home run (VIDEO) off one of Busch Stadium's more recognizable signs, terminating some of its lights in the process.
The legend of Mark McGwire takes another hit in St. Louis!
The blast, which came off vulnerable Cubs' pitcher Sean Marshall(notes), was AhPu's 14th of the season and gave the Cards a first-inning lead. St. Louis went on to win, 3-1, sweeping the Cubs in the three-game series and moving two games ahead of them in the NL Central standings.
Cubs announcers Len Kasper and Bob Brenly first wondered if the "I" turned itself off just before contact, but the photographic sequence above shows it was Prince Albert's blast who turned out the lights by slaying the sign.
WTF??? they thought the sign turned itself off before contact...LOL! Those clowns are funny!
