Just posted a story about the Italian site Altomareblu - the main focus seems to be on the work of boat designer Renato "Sonny" Levi - though there are a lot of neat "old school" stories about racing boats back in the day as well.

It's not easy to read, even with the links translated (actually, it can be pretty funny) but it's definitely worth a visit. I was also wondering if any of our icons knew Levi personally, he won Cowes-Torquay in '63 and seems like a pretty remarkable character.
