Does anyone remember and is familiar with the old Chesapeake Bay Model on Kent Island?

I visited it many years ago.

They were trying to turn it into a marine services center, probably lost for a while in this economy though, don't know what stage it's in now.

I was over there yesterday and we parked next to it to access the bike path. All that is left abandon building. The basic structure is still there, but the sides have been removed. I was just wondering what happened to it as I could not find any information on google
