Chicago Cubs.

Hmm, I can't seem to find a pic of it...It must be because the last time they won a W.S. there were no cameras.;)

I did find a pic of ONE of the STL Cardinals rings though. :cheers2:

My Brother-in-law wearing one of those rings......

No he didn't play, he is a Dr in Tampa and is a huge Yanks fan. Happen to run into someone wearing it and they let him wear it long enough to take the picture..... Looks like the 1998 one...

:ack2: none since 1908, but twenty before that......of course there were only three teams back then:willy_nilly:

A friend of mines father was on the last Detroit Lions championship team . . . . 1957. Gil Mains, Jon Madden called him "the best wedge breaker of all time". What a character, went on to pro big time wrestling in the 60's. He told me the most he ever made as a pro ball player was like fifteen grand a year and his first year in pro wrestling was like seventy grand. He also told me (as a wrestler) you have no idea what its like to have fifty thousand people booing you . . . . . bet he's glad to not be a Lion these days

He wore his championship ring every day. Took it off one time and handed it to me, it would not stay on my thumb. Big dude :D

someone I'm glad to have known, passed on January of this year.
