Cancelled Boyne Thunder Poker Run Still Raises More Than $50,000 For Charities

Many of those who signed up for the 2020 Boyne Thunder Poker Run in Northern Michigan, which was cancelled in late April, donated their registration and sponsorship fees to the event and its charities.

It is true I teamed up with Boyne Thunder because I like boats. But the charities are what keep me coming back.Long before Boyne Thunder my Father asked me to give the kids from Camp Quality rides in his antique cars. The children got in the cars with smiles, no hair and some with IV’s still hooked to them. Yes, it is very awesome that our boating family still helped out to support our charities. My niece that is in her thirties now was one of the campers at Camp Quality. She is married with three children and cancer free for several years. She still has wonderful memories of all the programs Camp Quality put on.
