Brett Favre Sends Lewd Photos, Text Messages to Playboy Pinup Jenn Sterger, Report Says

He went deep and came up short.
Former Jet quarterback Brett Favre allegedly threw a Hail Mary pass to a comely young sideline reporter for the team, sending her an embarrassing slew of steamy propositions and lewd photos, according to a sports-news Web site.

The voice mails and MySpace messages -- as well as three raunchy pictures of a man's genitals -- were posted in a cringe-inducing two-minute video on the sports blog Dead spin.com.

The string of missives and voice mails was purportedly an attempt by the married grandfather to charm buxom brunette beauty Jennifer Sterger, who is currently a co- host of "The Daily Line," a nightly sports roundup that airs on cable's Versus network.

The gray-haired grid great sidestepped questions yesterday at a press confer ence in Minnesota, where he now plays for the Vikings, who will play the Jets Monday night. "I'm not getting into that. I've got my hands full with the Jets," a stone- faced Favre, 40, said about the Deadspin report.

The gravelly voice caught on tape sounds remarkably like the quarterback propositioning Sterger, 26, a former Playboy pinup, in voice mails from 2008, when both were with Gang Green.

In one, Favre allegedly drones, "Just got done with practice. Got meetings here for a couple more hours, then I'm going back to the hotel to just chill.

"So send me a text. So I'll be in the building for a couple of hours. But, uh, I know [unintelligible] came up and asked ya for your number or gave you my number. But I understand. Send me a text. I'd love to see you tonight. All right, talk to you later. Bye."

Deadspin reported the Maxim model would not comment on the record about the messages, but told the site last winter that she joked to a Jet exec that she wouldn't date someone as high-profile as Favre because she "might end up in a garbage can."

NFL reviewing Brett Favre allegations

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- The NFL says it is reviewing allegations involving Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre, who the website Deadspin says sent racy messages and photos to a woman who worked for the team while he played for the Jets.
Favre
League spokesman Greg Aiello said Friday, "We are reviewing the matter," when asked about reports that Favre sent voice mails and photos to Jenn Sterger, who did game-day work for the Jets.

Asked about the Deadspin report Thursday, Favre said: "I'm not getting into that."

The Vikings and Jets play Monday night in New York (ESPN, 8:30 p.m. ET).

Ex-Jets masseuse: Brett Favre sent racy, inappropriate messages

A former New York Jets team masseuse said the Brett Favremade unwanted advances toward her when he played for the team in 2008.

The masseuse spoke to the New York Post but told the paper she did not want to be named. Her allegations are the latest to emerge in what has built into an NFL investigation into potential improper behavior by Favre.

"He was looking at me like I was a hanging slab of meat," the masseuse told the Post of how Favre allegedly began advances toward her while she and colleagues applied therapy to Jets players.

She told the paper that Favre also contacted her with racy messages. The woman's husband told the paper he furiously called Favre after he allegedly conveyed his "bad intentions" to the masseuse in messages.

"I called Favre back myself," the husband told the Post. "I was looking for an apology."

The Jets told the AP that they handed over the names of two masseuses to NFL security officials after Deadspin reported on Friday that Favre allegedly sent inappropriate messages to them.

The league opened an investigation after Deadspin reported that Favre allegedly sent inappropriate messages to former Jets gameday host Jenn Sterger.

Favre, 41, is married. On Thursday he declined to discuss the allegations. He is expected to play for the Vikings in a road game against the Jets on Monday night. Minnesota coachBrad Childress said the issue will not be a distraction for his team.
