I'm installing windshields on my boat..

What is the best, strongerst glue for plexiglass, stainless clips and fiberglass. ?

I want to drill as little, and least as possible holes in the deck.

thx

I think it's acrylic plexiglass.

Some company making stuff for Donzi, Baja etc. had some left over stock.

gotcha, just checkin. Plexi is very unforgiving in the rough offshore environment. Yes that is most likely an acrylic or polycarbonate material. I would 5200 them or a clear silicone if you dont want the white showing through it. You dont want anything to aggressive that you might not be able to service later.

The 5200 is a good choice, But you may want to do 4200 incase you need to remove them later, and I think you may be able to get some other color than white. either way, nothing will beat the bond of 5200/4200 (I think the 4200 dries allot faster also)

hey pete those look great, about time, lol.

Yup.. tired of the "B-B" gun effect, in the rain or running after some slingshot with rooster tail in my face.

THanks guys.. I'll try the 5200.. Once on, I don't want to remove or mess with it.

Anyone ever try to tint 5200? It won't be as noticeable if you add some blue. As long as you don't sacrifice any strength.

Good idea. I've never thought of that. I''ve used white gel pigment to tint some quick 2 part epoxy and it worked pretty good. Getting the color to mix with sticky 5200 might be a challenge.
