Time for this boat to go to someone who will finish it right.

I have all the pieces to complete, except the exhaust system, but I have broken it down to the basic hull and deck, original deck hardware and new cans of matching AWLGRIP paint and the original trailer for $20,000

If anyone wants to buy that much everything else is available to buy also. If the hull and deck purchaser doesn't want anything then I will sell it outright or in pieces.

Sorry about the print pages turned sideways, need some high tech help here. Thanks

Benihana was sold to a northeast guy who has begun the restoration.

He did not want any of the parts.

I am going to part out the pieces as collectors items rather than useful boat parts. I have spoken to people who are interested in placing them in their boat house, garage, man cave, office or even as part of the furniture in the home den. Your choice of how to treat a real piece of offshore history.

Starting with the original trim tabs off the Benihana

These are Kiekhaefer Aeromarine Twin ram with the big actuator cans. These tabs have been shaved on the insides so they would not hit the sterndrives. I am selling each tab as a separate item.

Buyer has the choice of purchasing tabs in present condition or having the tab painted and refreshed to look brand new.

Also I have a set of Old School Mercury Racing Big Block engines, with the fuel injector stacks that come from the engine stockpile of Billy Martin. I bought them directly from Roger Munn who was Billy's rigger and set up man, as well as riding with Billy in the boat for many races. Engines may be purchased in their present shape or freshly painted. Exhaust systems are available to go with the engines too if wanted

Interested parties may contact me at my Banana Racing Team email. banract@aol.com

Fixed the title for you Charlie.

Tommy would have bought those tabs from you awhile ago. He did find a pair to put on his Apache retrofit though.

Certainly looking forward to seeing it on the water again.

Do you know what he's powering it with?

Paul....Thank you for the fix, it is quite helpful.

No idea what power he intends to use. I do think he intends to use the same paint scheme.

He was the one who restored Daddy Cool a few years ago and has a business that does fiberglass repairs and painting, so I am sure it will be a while before we see it again.

This year at the Miami show, Bobby and I may have a little surprise for you, in the water, when we see you there.

Sorry no more details. LOL
