After talking with the guys, and looking at the boats involved, pretty much what happened is one of the steering rams failed completely and the boat made an instant hard left. They think, and maybe from the vids we can tell, that as they were sliding sideways the impact from the Cotner Trailers boat instgated the roll. But it looks to me as if the roll happened before the impact.
Chris said when it rolled the first time the hatches were torn open, and on the second roll their helmets were actually ripped off from the water intrusion.
The rolled bat boat, what is the history on that boat? I was told that there were only 7 (24') made. Scott Utah from Reilgh NC. had one that he aparently lost in a repo after losing the motor last year, in Clearwater race?
