The news and problems of other sites, the daily reports of bans and changes are getting old.

Who really cares any more. Should we be holding hands for comfort?

I am glad we all get along here.

Enjoy this site. The others problems don't exist here.

Fine day to all.

We've got a good thing going here- very solid, no-nonsense membership and a staff of admins and mods that are unimaginably dedicated. I understand the desire to take a "victory lap", so to speak.

I'd rather it be here than over there, if it has to be at all.

A better use of time would be telling a friend about what we have going on.

I am banned from the other site but still go over and read some of the BS. Its a shame that Jeffrey Changs dream for a boating website has fallen the way it has

Jim,
I have been one of those people venting about the other site recently and I agree it is starting to become monotonous. However, for those of us who have spent years involved in the other site, helping it grow into what it was, I feel we should be aloud to discuss it. It is important for people to see the trivial BS that is getting long time members (8-10 years) who never even had a warning banned from the site. It will give people abigger picture of what is going on and then they can decide for themselves where they want to go. There were a lot of threads on the other site that were brought up time an time again or beat to death and I simply didn't read them.
It is hard to lose an old friend and that is what many of us feel. I am glad our new friend is Awesome!

Tom
