I would like to send out a special thank you for all of those who supported and cared for me in my time of need. Lesson has been learned, one's foot cannot slow down a 41' apache. The patchogue EMS was wonderful and caring. I am down, but not out. Thank you to Rob Lauer who did a fantastic job driving Chiro One to victory in Class 4 along with Carl Marcincavage and Gary Roeben Sr. I look forward to seeing everyone soon.

Dr. G,
Glad to hear your foot is doing better!
We all wanted to bring home the checkered flag for you to help make your bad day a little better. Too bad there were no flags! :( I'm glad you made it back from the ER in time to watch the race and see our victory. We did it for you! I would also like to thank you for having me to be a part of Team Chiro One. I hope we share many more victories together.
Carl

Dr Gary glad to hear your doing better. It was great to watch the guys run that boat and bring home a victory!!! It was great hanging with you guys for the weekend also. Doris

Great race sight, tough wet pits, we were in the mud, drives on trailer position which we had no control as you know the wind was strong, doc didnt want to hit dock blood. never would have happened if we had a higher tide

Why you tried to stop a 41 with your foot.

Cause like the rest of us with "NO :03:BRAINS" :bump:who own boats, our boats are more important than our bodies! I'm sure everyone that has a boat has done this at least one time, I HAVE MANY TIMES. :ack2:Main thing Doc is OK...Not in the head :huh:but physically. :hurray::party: Sound About Right Doc ? God I Miss Racing and Everything that goes along with it.

Augie I want to thank you for offering to drive Chiro/one I saw the way Mama looked at you, sorta like are you crazy. We miss you & hope your team of dr's give you the green light or green flag to get back into your boat. Was nice seeing you in NY thanks again Gary sr

Your right Augie! At that moment, one doesnt think of the consequences to ones body but the damage to ones treasure (41' Apache). Stupid is, as stupid does. Can tell you one thing, not going to happen again. That docking was the worst conditions i have been in that tight area. Guess we looked like fools along with my banged up foot. Pretty embarrasing, oh well. This is just part of my battle wounds
Dr. G

Gary,
Nothing to be embarassed about. That is a tough wet pits on a calm windless day, and I have seen smaller boats have more problems docking than you guys did. Just part of the deal. Get better soon.

Doc, We may have looked like fools at the dock but in the race everyone said we looked like pros. That's what counts. After all we went there to RACE not to show off our docking skills. ;) The good thing is you were not seriously injured and your efforts paid off because the boats didn't hit each other! As a Dr. wouldn't this be considered your practice? :)

I always found that a little un-nerving that they call what they do "practice". I just hope the get it right when it becomes my turn
