51' Fountain.....

I was reading some of my old powerboat mags back from the 1990's and I came across a Fountain ad, about a 51' Fountain sportboat.... anyone know about the 51'???? Pictures??? I am curious...

Don't have any pics but we had been in talks with the fellow from Florida about purchasing the boat 3 years ago. The 51 was a stretched 47 in the transom. They only built 3 total. They had trip 540's with Fabio Buzzi surface drives. Wish I could tell you more.

i think one was on ebay a bit ago. ugly mofo, looked like it was slapped together with the buzzi surface drives.

The only reason we didn't do it was one engine shot and was on a lift all the time down there in Florida. Yes also the ugly part came up also.

That is one sick boat, especially with Fabio Buzzi surface drives!!! A kid sure knows his boats!!! Im pretty sure that If I contact Fountain, they can provide me with some info or an old brochure... thanks for the info guys.

I believe that boat belongs to the fella from house wifes of Orange County Ca. I think it was Georges boat the Land Dude.
