500efi header?

Just wondering if there are any differences in standard E-tops and the 500efi headers other than the welded distribution tubes. The tails are interchangeable correct? Thanks!

Chad they will interchange. The real early E-tops had a rope seal for the tailpipe and they will not work on the newer e-tops.

If you are installing CMI tails on a Merc 500 Header you need the adapter rings.

The Merc 500 was the Cool Collar and the CMI headers are flex flare.

I have a new set of tails in the box and might have a set of adapters...let me know.
