It’s that time of the year again and the Chesapeake Bay Power Boat Association is ramping up for another action packed weekend of boating on the Chesapeake Bay. This year we have a brand new venue for the events in Solomon’s Island Maryland and there is a definite buzz around town.

The poker run is scheduled for Saturday October 2nd, 2010 with the Solomon’s Offshore Grand Prix OPA National Championships on Sunday the 3rd, 2010. There is also a Golf Tournament being put together for Friday October 1st, 2010. The registration form is included on the bottom and all of the information can be found at www.CBPBA.com

The run will be highlighted by a start at the famous Solomon’s Tiki Bar, “The Best Poker Run Lunch Ever” at Skipper’s Pier in Deal, the open waters of the Chesapeake Bay and a Finale Beach party at Vera’s White Sands Beach Club and Marina in Solomon’s Island. Free slips are being offered to all poker run entrants at Vera’s White Sands Marina including water and electric.

Captain’s Package for CBPBA Member (One per boat required) - $250
Includes: (2) Meals (Breakfast, Lunch and Afternoon Snacks), (2) T-Shirts, (1) Helicopter Photo, (1) Event Video DVD and (1) Poker Hand.

Weather is lookin' good for tomorrow and we are ready to go!!! Just a reminder that we are doing registrations at Catamaran's tonight from 5-9 and also at the Tiki Bar in the morning. If you have not signed up yet there is still plenty of room but go ahead and bring your registration with you so we can make sure we get it.
