performance boat center now has the boat, it is at the marina. sad to see it like this, somebody needs to buy it and get her back on the water.

we saw 92 in perfect water, was actually flat, temps were very cool, high 50s when i ran it, boat handled like it was on rails, awesome ride.

had the pleasure to race in the roughest water ive ever run in in the opa world championships with my friend randy in the typhoon boat off the coast of orange beach alabama. this picture doesnt even do it justice. roughest water to date ive been in and we ran 85 plus the entire race...

I did not personally know either of them. I saw the boat frequently, and Brads engine building abilities are well known around the lake. both were highly reguarded guys at loto. certainly a tragic loss for our sport.

there is a very good reason race courses are closed, at speeds this fast things happen way too quickly, my opinion if you have to dodge normal boat traffic common sense would tell you to slow down. i have the good fortune to run boats like these all the time, at these speeds, on closed race...

Congratulations octane!!!!! Sounds like a great race!!! Shelley and I really miss it! Miss the racing but more than that miss the Svl family.... Jim has worked his butt off on that boat, that's a much deserved win and shows that any Svl race is anybody's race to win.
