Any landscapers around, trimmer related question?

Stihl, shindawa, and redmax a distant 3rd. Stihl fs90 is 300 dollars msrp. Shindawa makes a great trimmer, and it may be a slightly better option since it is still a 2 stroke. Some people love the redmax, others hate it. But thats another option. Don't buy echo, huskavarna, ect from...

    Sears you suck!

If my zero turn saw that lawn, I think it would spin around and run away fast. And the family members do all expect me to come around, I've been hanging onto plowing every year but I question it each season. When I'm doing more for family for free than I'm getting paid for it starts to not...

    Sears you suck!

My whole lawn is pretty much a hill, no problems. You are right on the plowing, but there is a much better tool for that job. I have a 9'6 fisher v-plow on my f-350.

    Sears you suck!

I'm not a tractor fan at all. When I was younger I spent some time working for a landscraper, and it became very apparent there is only one good tool for the job. A professional walk behind or zero turn rider is the only way to go for big lawns. I got lucky and found a 60inch exmark lazer Z...

    WOW..watch this card trick

At one of the trade shows we go to there was a magician every year. He did a very similar version of that and other tricks all show long. He was impressive to watch and I got to chat with him a bunch. I watched some tricks countless times through out the shows and years and still can't figure...

Somalia pirates threaten to blow up oil supertanker

I really am baffled at why the crew of these vessels can not carry weapons. I understand it is because the ports that receive them do not allow it, but why not create some kind of special safe? The harbor pilot can verify guns are locked, and leave a lock of his own when the ship is in port.

You didn't ride into Connecticut just to knock it off the list? No other reason to go there really.:)

    Motorcycles let's see them!

All these old 250r builds and banshee builds used to be great. Then out came the 450's and IMO obsoleted the 250r. Right now used 250r and trx450 asking prices are equivalent. I'd take a machine 20 years newer any day of the week, since the geometry is almost the same. As much as I miss...

Motorcycle Rider. Maybe the best I have seen.

This guy takes pictures on the side of the road for a living. Very cool job, there are a few others also. http://killboy.blogspot.com/ His highlight page has some funny stuff.

Motorcycle Rider. Maybe the best I have seen.

The rider's name was "Lone Wolf". He is regarded in that area as one of the best locals on the road. He used to make money by video taping other riders, from behind or in front. The goldwing was set up with all his video editing equipment. The story is a top level rider on a ducati 999 said...

    Motorcycles let's see them!

I love motorcycles of all kinds. Currently I have two Suzuki SV650's, and a Honda CRF450x street legal, also with a supermoto set up. I ride the CRF off road, on the ice, and on the road in supermoto and dual sport form. The yellow SV was wrecked by a friend, so I picked it up cheap for...

    Old school Chevy truck guys....

This is one place, they specialize in ford swaps obviously, but they have expertise to do it on chevys. I'm sure there are other places. Its not a hard project really. http://www.fordcummins.com/chevrolet-cummins-conversion.html

    Old school Chevy truck guys....

You could take it one step farther, and do what I plan on one day. Swap a 12valve turbo charged cummins in it. They make all of the mounts and adapters necessary. Use the dodge power steering pump and alternator, possibly the AC compressor with new lines. Would probably have to change the...

    redoing dash!

Looks great! I prefer using cadd software. Visio on the low end should work to. Much easier to move stuff virtually, then take some dimensions and your done. OR, send to a machine shop with water/laser jet for finished part with no dimensioning work.
