I tried 1", 2" and then stacked them for 3" (the vertical drive shaft has enough spline contact for 3" of spacers). I used 17.5x31 4bbl's, 18x32 4bbl's and the 18x32 worked the best. I have spacers available.

Looking to buy new upper gear sets for a #5 drive, 1.31 ratio net-forged, straight cut, splined. Also 1.125 ratio, left and right lowers. Anyone know of any one that has any of the above? Mercury has discontinued them. Gary ph: 763-473-8963
