Too bad this run doesn't go past a US Battleship like the Alabama or New Jersey.

There are certainly some great locations to go visit up there. And some really great restaurants with waterfront access and nice docks.

I must agree that a break in the middle of the summer is nice. But, there are sure a bunch of other performance boating events that happen. And, if it wasn't for the cancellation of Toronto, we would have Toronto on the 12th and 13th, and then St Clair on the 26th and 27th.

Micheal said they raised the engines. The tie bar and the cowls were still attached. They got the engines back to the marina, but the crane operator had left and so they had to wait until tomorrow to get the engines out of the water and can start the repairs. I'll keep you filled in as I learn.

Talked with Michael earlier. They located the engines, but the water was too rough for recovery. The Sheriff's department have them marked. and they will hopefully be raised tomorrow.

An argumentative drunk had been looking for a fight all afternoon in the club bar after losing his match, finally aiming a punch at the man next to him. The man ducked and the drunk, losing balance, fell off his stool on to the floor. By the time he'd dusted himself down and picked himself up...
